What is 5G as a service? here is Answer

What is 5G as a service?
A: 5G is the 5th generation mobile network. It is a new global wireless standard after 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G networks. 5G enables a new kind of network that is designed to connect virtually everyone and everything together including machines, objects, and devices.

In telecommunications, 5G is the fifth-generation technology standard for broadband cellular networks, which cellular phone companies began deploying worldwide in 2019, and is the planned successor to the 4G networks which provide connectivity to most current cellphones. 5G networks are predicted to have more than 1.7 billion subscribers worldwide by 2025, according to the GSM Association Like its predecessors, 5G networks are cellular networks, in which the service area is divided into small geographical areas called cells. All 5G wireless devices in a cell are connected to the Internet and telephone network by radio waves through a local antenna in the cell. The new networks have higher download speeds, eventually up to 10 gigabits per second (Gbit/s)

In addition to 5G being faster than existing networks, 5G has higher bandwidth and can thus connect more different devices, improving the quality of Internet services in crowded areas
Due to the increased bandwidth, it is expected the networks will increasingly be used as general internet service providers (ISPs) for laptops and desktop computers, competing with existing ISPs such as cable internet, and also will make possible new applications in internet-of-things (IoT) and machine-to-machine areas. Cellphones with 4G capability alone are not able to use the 5G networks, as they are not backwards compatible with 4G
Is 5G cell service available?
5G Nationwide available in 2,700+ cities. 5G Nationwide access requires a 5G Nationwide-capable device, which automatically connects when you're in a 5G coverage area. Devices manufactured before 2020 are not 5G Nationwide compatible.

Is 5G faster than Wi-Fi?
5G networks will provide 50x more speed, 10x less latency, and 1,000x more capacity than 4G/LTE. This means 5G will be able to connect more devices and transmit more data than ever before, delivering fast connectivity and significantly enhanced user experiences.

Do I need 5G phone in 2022?
"And so you're going to want to buy a 5G phone both for coverage reasons and for speed."
T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T 5G.
Faster 5G Network Reach Time frame
T-Mobile 210 million people 2021
Verizon 175 million people 2022
AT&T 200 million people 2022

Will 5G work in my house?
The main drawback with mmWave-based mobile 5G is that wireless high-band technology does not work well indoors. This is because mmWave signals struggle to penetrate building walls and certain types of glass, thus hobbling indoor 5G performance.

Is LTE and 5G the same?
A major difference between 5G and LTE will be 5G's use of a higher frequency bands, operating at millimeter wave (mmWave) bands on the radio spectrum, in conjunction with lower band spectrum. That aspect of the 5G architecture will make great amounts of bandwidth available and overcome LTE's traffic congestion issues

Will 5G affect my Smart TV?
The signal from 5G telephone networks and transmitters can interfere with your television reception. Causing blurry images, problems with the sound or missing channels. The nearer you live to 5G antenna locations, the more likely you will experience interference with your television

How will 5G change home internet?
5G's lightning speeds, ultralow latency and expanded millimeter wave (mmWave) bandwidth promise to replace current technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi, legacy-wired broadband and cable.

How fast is 5G vs cable?
Download speeds are between 10 and 500 Mbps, while upload speeds are between 5 and 50 Mbps. Fiber connections are synchronous (same upload and download) and capable of speeds between 10 Mbps and 1 Gbps. Wireless 5G are asynchronous as well and provide users with 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps
